We're Cephas and Ruth Kropf, and we wanted to share our story with you. Together with our beautiful family, we live on 11 acres of countryside near Itasca, Texas.
Our journey began in 2011 when we started raising family pets, first as Northland Kennels in Wisconsin, and later as Southland Puppies in north-central Texas.
We absolutely fell in love with the delightful Golden Retriever breed, known for their intelligence and terrific personality. But we also knew that some people needed hypoallergenic pets, so we decided to create "designer breeds."
By pairing the popular Poodle, with its fabulous non-shedding curly coat, with our beloved Golden Retriever, we've crafted the popular Goldendoodle. That's how we began raising Goldendoodles.
Family is at the heart of everything we do. We're passionate about providing you with puppies that will undoubtedly become cherished members of your family. To ensure that, we've set high standards for ourselves in raising each puppy in a safe environment where all their needs are met.
As a state-inspected breeder with an excellent reputation, we also collaborate with other breeders who share our ethical approach to breeding. You can trust that your new furry friend will be happy and healthy when they join your family.
